In the first centuries, Christian missionaries journeyed east along trade routes from the Roman Empire into Persia. Among them was Addai (Thaddeus), who traveled to Edessa and into Persian territories, preaching the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In bustling markets and quiet villages, merchants, soldiers, and scholars heard the message and witnessed acts of healing, sparking the formation of small Christian communities.
Despite imperial opposition and local pressures, believers met in homes and hidden chapels, preserving their faith through letters, teaching, and secret worship. By the third century, these communities flourished in major Persian cities, blending local culture with Christian teaching. Their steadfastness in the face of persecution laid the foundation for the Church of the East, spreading the Gospel far beyond the Mediterranean and demonstrating the enduring power of Christ’s message across diverse lands and peoples.
Ghodrat dar Khoda means “Strength in God” in Persian, a masterpiece of craftsmanship. This American-made Persian-style bowie features an upswept Damascus folded steel blade, perfected through a proprietary heat treat for unmatched strength and edge retention. The polished Ironwood handle is adorned with mosaic pins, while heat-anodized peacock-blue bolsters and pommel add vivid sophistication. Each detail is meticulously finished, and the sword arrives in a hand-sewn leather sheath. A true collector’s treasure, embodying divine strength and refined elegance.
