Holdout is an American legend refined, reimagined and reborn - a tried-and-true camp, field and survival bowie crafted for the elite outdoorsman. Precision designed by Dawson's master craftsmen, Holdout features a customized grind for a tough, razor sharp edge and best-in-class performance in the field. Optimized balance offers fast deployment and targeted chopping.

We chose American-made G10 for our handle scales - tough, waterproof and virtually impervious to the elements. Then we developed our own signature Topographic handle contouring, specifically designed to maximize contact with your hand and reduce friction for a comfortable, secure grip. 

Holdout is crafted from heavy-duty .210" CPM-Magnacut steel. This highly technologically advanced powder steel is highly resistant to corrosion or staining, exhibiting exceptional toughness and an edge holding capability up to 2x that of D2 steel.

Holdout also includes a GEN 2 Carbon Fiber Kydex sheath, featuring an improved, rattle free fit, horizontal, MOLLE and beltless carry options.
