In the 16th century, the Kakure Kirishitan, or “Hidden Christians,” were a noble and peaceful Japanese people who embraced Christianity after its arrival with European missionaries. Though they lived with honor and humility, they were brutally persecuted by the Shogunate, who saw their faith as a threat to national unity. Forced into hiding, they practiced their beliefs in secret for over 250 years, preserving their traditions through many tears in whispers and symbols. After Japan reopened to the world in the 19th century, these Christians emerged from the shadows; resilient, dignified, and unbroken in spirit. Their survival is a testament that no tear cried in shadow goes unseen by God.
Introducing the Namida No Tōken 涙の刀, the Sword of Tears; an exquisite fusion of ancient soul and modern mastery. Crafted from ultra-premium .210" Magnacut steel, this serialized 001 piece marks the genesis of a limited series, each piece with small unique variances. Its Arizona Ironwood handle is wrapped in a traditional Japanese interlocking pattern of cotton-silk, offering both elegance and precision grip.
A Magnacut steel tsuba ornamented with Climbing Vine filework adds timeless artistry, while a custom-sewn leather sheath completes this heirloom of unmatched craftsmanship. Namida No Tōken is not merely a blade; it is legacy emblazoned in steel.
Personally heat-treated by our master swordmaker, this blade is a modern warrior’s answer to the katana’s timeless elegance. Every line, curve, and balance point is shaped with meticulous attention, echoing timeless craftsmanship while delivering the strength and cutting power of a 21st-century blade. The sweeping, razor-sharp edge flows into a gracefully tapered point—perfect for precision strikes and smooth, powerful cuts.
