Proclamation is inspired by the ancient Roman "Mainz" gladius. It is poetry written in steel, well balanced and fast, with a broad, double-edge blade gracefully tapering into a wasp waist before expanding again to a razor sharp spear point. The handle is full and comfortable, and long enough to wield the sword single-handed or hand-and-a-half.

Proclamation is built from heavy duty .210" CPM-MagnaCut, one of the toughest and most highly refined cutlery steels available, milled at one of the last surviving steel mills in the United States. CPM-Magnacut is highly resistant to corrosion or staining, and thanks to our own specialty heat treat, Dawson blades stay sharp up to twice as long as other premium steels. Rockwell C 61-62.
